You can't use simply %l. l is a prefix that is supposed to be used with a type specifier, such as d, i, o, u ,x, etc. For long you should use "%ld" if it signed, and "%lu" if not. If you don't use the correct specifiers the results are unpredictible, because CString::Format is not type safe.
